NAMIBIA

Known for its Desert landscape, Namibia is one of the most sparsely populated countries in Southern Africa. It offers excellent game viewing in the Etosha National Park, a short drive from the famous Skeleton Coast. Travel between the main centers can be accomplished in a normal vehicle, however, in some areas a 4 x 4 vehicle is necessary.  Accommodation establishments throughout the country are excellent and offer good value for money. For something different why not take an overnight train journey on the Desert Express from Windhoek to the coast at Swakopmund.
