Known for its prolific wildlife as well as the impressive Okavango Delta, situated in the North West of the Country, Botswana offers an incredible location for you to consider. Access however to the various Lodges within the Delta can only be made by Charter aircraft and this has a tendency to increase the costs of your holiday.

Main roads throughout the Country are in good condition although distances between major towns are inclined to be long. However, using Francistown as a base for the north, both Maun, which services the Okavango Delta and Kasane which services both the Chobe River and Victoria Falls can be easily reached by normal vehicle within a day. Elsewhere in Botswana, 4 x 4 travel is the only option and facilities for tourism are very limited.
